04when does it run, and how much time should i put in?

06do i need to be in New York?

cohort members mainly participate remotely, with optional—but highly encouraged—NYC events and meetups.

no. you should be ready to found a startup and willing to work on a meaningful deeptech project during the incubator, with the aim of showcasing your work to VCs and angel investors at demo day.

08do i need to drop out for the incubator?

no. our vision is for students to stay in school while building their own deeptech startups and projects. E¹ is designed around flexibility, adaptability, and keeping your options open.

school offers focused education, opportunities to learn, a large network of talented peers, and student benefits and perks. we want those advantages to help you build what you're passionate about.

09what support is available?

PhD & peer-to-peer student mentorship, warm introductions to VCs for fundraising, a community of deeptech peers, NYC events and meetups, and perks through our startup partners. we are working toward additional resources, funding, and residencies. additional credits, compute, and benefits will be announced as they are secured.
